LabChem quality begins with the purchase of reagent grade raw materials from leading manufacturers. Water as a critical component exceeds the standard for ASTM Type II water. Raw materials received are inspected and become the first entry in a detailed QC tracking system which requires written documentation through the processes of testing, packaging, and shipping. Degreed chemists are responsible for manufacturing and analysis.
Analysis performed is traceable to the National Institute of Science & Technology's (NIST) Standard Reference Materials. Methods and procedures are according to American Chemical Society, ASTM, APHA, and other recognized compendia. Packaging, an integral part of quality control, insures product integrity at delivery. Labeling and shipping conform to DOT specifications.
